Planting Design and Installation

This service is for property owners who

  • Want a natural garden designed and installed once hardscaping has been done, or

  • Want to convert an under-utilized monocultural lawn area to a resilient natural garden/meadow, or

  • Want to replace a non-ecologically functioning, high-maintenance ornamental garden with a naturalistic garden

Planting design is at the heart of every project. This service includes a full package from design to site prep to installation and aftercare. We source plant materials from reputable wholesale nurseries and growers for clients.

Our planting design style is naturalistic, utilizing native plants whenever appropriate to establish a biodiverse and resilient plant community with a contemporary and artistic expression.

Landscape Design with Drawing

This service includes both hardscape and softscape design for partial or full property. We keep hardscaping at minimum level in our design, only for the purpose of function. We also recommend more sustainable materials to our clients.

We prepare concept design drawings that are to scale in order to provide relevant detail for installation. These information will enable costing, sourcing and procurement. A colored 2D visualization will be included, with 3D rendering as an additional option.

A property topographic survey/site plan (PDF or DWG file) is often required for this service, and can be arranged if the homeowner doesn’t already have one. Small urban properties are sometimes surveyed ‘in house’.

We only recommend contractors with top notch quality of work for hardscape installation. The client would hire the contractor directly.
